"I'll wait for you!" She called As her beloved was swept away "I'll wait forever, for my love to return!" "My love will return someday" She said adamantly, as life went on "And I will wait for that day" "I'll keep waiting" She said patiently As her smooth skin became pale And her eyes dulled "My beloved will return" She whispered During a dreadful storm In a world ages away "I love you," she whispered On her bed of white "But I can't wait any longer"   There is a moment of silence That holds so much emotion Then, The monitor goes flat And she disappears
